What does the Director Logistics Project Management do at Swire Coca-Cola? We are looking for an experienced individual to fulfill the Director Logistics Project Management and oversee transformative programs for logistics at Swire Coca-Cola. This strategic role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage department-wide projects, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. The incoming director will work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring a seamless integration of resources. Responsibilities include strategic planning, clear project guidance, and maintaining high communication standards with stakeholders. Quality control, financial forecasting, and risk management as well as mentoring leaders and optimizing business processes to achieve strategic goals, aligning with logistics operations with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic initiatives that transform and optimize our logistics operations; define and execute a long-term vision for the logistics project management that aligns with our corporate objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of logistics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project dashboard to track progress and report to senior management
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of project managers and logistics specialists, foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current logistics and supply chain processes, implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency
  • Proactively identify potential risks in logistics operations and projects, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies which ensure stability and continuity of the supply chain
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including supply chain, procurement, finance, HR, and IT departments, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure alignment and support for logistics initiatives
  • Utilize advanced analytics and reporting tools to provide strategic insights and support data-driven decision making in logistics operations
  • Lead change management efforts ensuring smooth transitions, sustained adoption, and training associated with implementation of new logistics processes and systems
Requirements
  • Master's Degree MBA, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or Business-related field required
  • 6 years project management experience with 3 years in a project management leadership role required
  • PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma training required
  • Certification PMP, PMI, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • CPG, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, Logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
