Your mission

Swissbit is looking for an excellent Sales Development Manager to lead and accelerate growth within our authentication portfolio. This position will provide the ultimate opportunity to build up a business in a rapidly growing market with the most innovative products in the authentication space and which can rely on an existing talented pre-sales / technical support team and partner network. As a strong hunter you will be driving this new business segment at Swissbit and will play a key part in the company's strategy.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to generate opportunity pipeline, drive sales, and close contracts / win orders for the authentication portfolio in North America with focus on the East Coast.
  • Identify and pursue potential accounts through various sales channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective accounts to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Deliver compelling product and service presentations to showcase their value and address customer questions.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with accounts to secure deals while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product management, and technical pre-sales to align efforts, leverage resources, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Expanding and shaping a long-term business relationship with customers and partners

Your profile

  • Successful degree in engineering or economics
  • Proven track record of several years in sales of security and authentication solutions
  • Strong network with IT-Distributors, System Integrators, and Identity and Access Management providers
  • Experience in value-based selling at senior/C-Level;
  • Expertise with tenders and procurement processes in the public and private sector
  • Negotiation skills, strong communication skills and a high level of commitment
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, personal responsibility and very strong customer focus
  • Very good MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel) and knowledge of CRM tool (Sales Force) an advantage
  • Business fluent in English, other European languages an advantage
  • Willingness to travel as necessary (approx. 50%)
