Compliance/Credentialing Specialist
The compliance and credentialing specialist provides the highest level of customer service to providers and DirectCare Shifts internal staff. The credentialing and compliance specialist will contribute to the culture of the office which is defined as being high energy, having strong accountability, and team orientated while keeping strong attention to detail and focusing on professional development.
About this role:
Provides excellent customer service to all constituents under the guidance of the operations lead and in accordance DirectCare Shifts expectations while maintaining customer satisfaction thorough accurate, timely, and professional responses.
Displays strong organizational skills and time management skills to efficiently support multiple projects.
Perform high volume background, license, and eligibility checks on all incoming providers to ensure their compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Run weekly and monthly compliance reports to ensure ongoing compliance and provider eligibility.
Manage incoming messages pertaining to credentialing and compliance. Communicate with external customers daily via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in business administration, public health, or related degrees or equivalent experience
Healthcare experience of 1 year pref'd
Healthcare compliance experience pref'd
Must be able to multitask and work in a high volume setting
Must have a high attention to detail
Computer proficiency - Microsoft, Excel
