JOB TITLE: IT Manager
DEPARTMENT: IT
SUPERVISED BY: Chief Operating Officer
SUMMARY:
As an IT Manager, you will work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that our company is using the most up to date technology to run our business. We are seeking an IT Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the hardware and software used by our company is compatible, secure, and scalable. You will also be responsible for managing our internal network and providing support for our staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
- Assist the IT department with leading and training IT staff.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of information security initiatives to include Identity & Access Management, systems hardening, alert and incident triage and investigation, and the implementation and adoption of security technologies.
- Develop and implement policies related to information security, network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
- Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance of information systems.
- Establish, measure, and define IT security goals and maintain an IT security roadmap.
- Monitor and analyze the success of IT security initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
- Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
- Manage projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience as an information technology or information security (Networking, Systems Administrator, Security Engineer, etc.)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT as a team lead or manager.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems.
- Experience with network administration (Cisco certification a plus).
- Experience managing on-premises and cloud servers
- Familiarity with major cloud-provider platforms such as MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
