I am partnered with a family-owned publishing company to hire an Educational Sales Account Manager. We are seeking a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in account management to oversee a designated territory. If you excel in relationship building, sales, and enjoy working independently, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

Salary: $60K-$75K base commission

Territory: Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, and New Mexico

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent travel within Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, and New Mexico.
• Conduct in-person trainings, customer meetings, and contract negotiations.
• Manage and nurture existing customer relationships.
• Drive sales growth within the assigned territory.
• Apply consultative sales techniques to identify and close sales opportunities.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of both digital and print products.
• Develop and keep current all account records in the CRM system, including opportunities and customer communications.

Qualifications:

• Must reside within Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Mexico, or the Philadelphia area.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (air and car).
• 2-5 years of account management experience.
• Eager to develop relationships with existing customers.
• Preferred experience in selling digital, online, and print products to higher education (health science) customers.
• Bachelor's degree required.
