About the Product Manager position

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation and measurement of digital products and features that drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency on the company's e-commerce platform. This includes overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to launch and optimization. The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and analytics, to ensure product success.

About Swyft

Since 2015, we’ve grown from a lawyer and two online entrepreneurs into a team of 125 strong – and you can bet we’re not done yet. We’re proud to have been ranked as one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston, nationally by the Inc 5000.

Our mission is to break down barriers so anyone can follow their dreams and create something special for themselves and their communities. To do that, we need a product manager to partner with our development, marketing and customer success teams. This is an opportunity to build and own a product area that will have a direct impact on our company’s reach so that we can better serve our customers and more effectively help new entrepreneurs get their companies up and running as easily, efficiently, and affordably as possible.

Lead the product discovery process, including market research, user testing, and data analysis, to identify and prioritize new product opportunities and features.
  • Define and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, in collaboration with the development team.
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to create product prototypes, wireframes, and specifications that meet customer needs and technical constraints.
  • Conduct regular A/B testing, user feedback sessions, and data analysis to measure product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to develop and execute product launch and promotion plans, and to track and report on key product metrics.
  • Manage the product pipeline, including resource allocation and cross functional collaboration, to ensure on-time delivery of product releases. Keep up-to-date with e-commerce industry trends and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with the broader team.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in product management, with a focus on e-commerce platforms and digital products.
  • Strong knowledge of agile product development methodologies, including product discovery, user story mapping, and backlog management.
  • Experience with A/B testing, user research, and data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, or Amplitude Analytics and SQL.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
