Sycuan Casino and Resort is Hiring an Event Security Near El Cajon, CA
Job Purpose:The primary responsibilities include providing exceptional guest service while supporting Theater events, promotional giveaways, community outreach and co-op sponsorships, including security services to Sycuan guests and personnel.

- Ushering venue guests to assigned seats.
- Provide friendly guest service while promoting entertainment options and assisting guests
- Maintains a thorough understanding of show schedule, production details, and ticketing prices.
- Assists with night of show ticket redemptions.
- Assists with venue logistics before and after events.
- Maintain a professional and pleasant department image by consistently communicating and presenting information in a professional manner to internal and external guests.
- Ascertain and resolve guest concerns, requests, and/or complaints in a timely, courteous and informed manner.
- Provide friendly guest service while promoting Sycuan Casino Resort at off property sponsored events.
- Identify underage guests, undesirable guests, requesting they vacate the venue, and physically subduing disruptive guests if necessary, according to established procedures,
- Communicate effectively via radio to Event Security, Casino Dispatch, and Casino Security.
- Escorting VIP’s back of house to and from the venue(s).
- Other duties assigned.
Essential:
- Hospitality Experience
- Guest Service Experience
- Casino experience
- POST certification/or Military LE experience
- CPR certification
- Ability to remain energetic, outgoing, and get along with a variety of personalities
- Ability to effectively communicate, maintain professional and positive composure with guests and team members
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English Language
- Ability to abide by polished and professional grooming standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of security
- Ability to evaluate unusual situations and make sound judgements
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
