This role facilitates and tracks SNPs benefits, workers compensation, leave and safety programs. In addition, this role is responsible for tracking and communication of safety metrics and required OSHA reporting.
Responsibilities: Oversees the company's employee leave programs. Supports employees with FMLA, short-term disability and long-term disability requests. Understands and supports employees with benefits-related questions and enrollment. Manages all employee workers compensation claims to conclusion. Supports managers in returning employees with restrictions. Tracks and communicates employee safety data. Follows required OSHA reporting guidelines. Supports the company with required safety training and injury prevention.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: 2 years experience in Human Resources activities such as compensation and benefits, training, and legal compliance OR similar experience in employee safety training and management. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Knowledge of employment laws, policies, and regulations. Knowledge of database software and human resources computer application systems. Understands confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies. Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
Degree in Human Resources/Business Management or equivalent experience required.
