Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Architect to join our team and provide analysis and leadership on data analysis projects across our complex, multi-platform data environment. Our technologies include Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server, as well as desktop-based applications such as MS Access and MS Excel. Our goal is to establish an enterprise data model, standardizing shared data entities and attributes, and standardizing database management systems and tools. Related transactional databases and data warehouses will be hosted in Azure, generally using Microsoft Dataverse and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide insights and leadership on data analysis projects.

· Create and maintain an enterprise data model.

· Collaborate with other data analysts, data architects, and application developers.

· Provide subject matter expertise on Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.

Required/Desired Skills:

· Experience with Azure Data Factory as an ETL tool.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse and SSIS.

· Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) with a focus on data analysis and data structure.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Understanding of various database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server (On-Prem/Azure), DB2, and MS Access.

· Strong written, verbal, and technology illustration skills.

· Knowledge of data warehousing and data mining.

· Understanding of modeling strategies (dimensional, snowflake, relational, unstructured).

· Experience designing and delivering data mapping specifications for large reporting platforms.

· Ability to write and maintain business rules using SQL logic.

· Proven experience in writing ad-hoc SQL statements.

· Interest in playing a technical data steward role across business and technology partners.

· Experience with ERD/Data Modeling tools (Toad or others).

· Experience in executing projects in an Agile/Hybrid environment.

· Ability to challenge legacy designs and seek opportunities for improvement.

· Technical ability to learn new technologies and adapt to frequent changes.

· Experience with data reporting tools (Power BI or others).

· Ability to organize data to meet the needs of various program areas.

· Experience conceptualizing and visualizing data structures before they are drawn.

· Experience migrating data from various legacy platforms.
