We have partnered with a client from the construction industry looking for a Lead Product Designer to engage on-site in Atlanta . This role would place you in a highly - energized environment with some of the most hardworking, creative individuals in the industry where you would be inspired to share your years of experience.
Lead Product Designer plays a crucial role in enhancing design solutions through usability testing, creating user-centric wireframes and prototypes, and developing visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. This role will lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system for digital and physical branding. It is also expected to utilize strategic thinking to prioritize features and shape a long-term technological vision.
What are your day-to-day responsibilities?

• Executing usability testing to ensure continuous improvement of design solutions.
• Creating detailed wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts that cater to user needs and expectations.
• Developing user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and align with industry best practices.
• Designing and maintaining a comprehensive design system, encompassing both digital and physical branding and identity systems.
• Employing strategic thinking to prioritize features and build a long-term vision for their technological support.
• Leading design teams and stakeholders towards better design decisions, leveraging insights from post-discovery phases and testing sessions.
• Collaborating effectively in a cross-functional team environment, including remote and offshore collaboration.

Experience and expertise:

• Proven experience as a lead designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital product design
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs using industry-standard tools
• Ability to develop comprehensive UX artifacts, including service blueprints and user journey maps, to deeply understand and enhance the user experience. This involves detailing user flows, pinpointing touchpoints, and identifying opportunities for improvement in our digital solutions, ensuring a holistic and empathetic approach to design.
• Ability to conduct specialized usability and accessibility evaluations under specific and complex conditions to ensure our designs are tailored to meet diverse user needs. This meticulous approach is key to guaranteeing successful adoption and effectiveness of the products we design.
• Strong understanding of usability testing methods and their application for continuous product improvement.
• Being a strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize features and establish a long-term vision for design solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including remote offshore collaboration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire design teams.
• Familiarity with the scaffolding industry is a plus.
