- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute the professional services department strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, consultants, and technical experts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a senior advisor to key clients, building strong executive relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Service Delivery Excellence:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client needs, are delivered on time and within budget, and achieve targeted profit margins.
- Oversee project portfolio, ensuring effective resource allocation, project execution, and risk management.
- Implement best practices in project management and service delivery processes.
- Business Development Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify service opportunities, participate in client pitches, and develop proposals that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of new services and solutions that address market needs and support business growth.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the professional services P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Oversee the billing and invoicing process for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Operational Excellence:
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes and tools to enhance team productivity and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services, consulting, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a professional services organization within a technology or consulting environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
