- Provide technical expertise to produce detailed database designs and design documentation, including data models and data flow diagrams
- Evaluate and configure database products to match user requirement with system capabilities
- Determine file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for system databases
- Plan and coordinate conversion and migration of existing (or legacy) databases
- Outstanding communication skills
- An ability to work with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities
