About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Architect to join Treasury & Risk Architecture team. The cloud architect will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing our cloud-based solution. You will collaborate with various teams to create scalable, secure and cost-efficient cloud architectures that meets business requirements. Additionally, you will ensure teams are following industry standards best practices.
About the team:
FIS® Treasury and Risk- Architecture team ensures the development of scalable, secure and efficient systems, with a forward-thinking approach. The team ensures that business goals are in alignment with the technical solutions implemented. This team collaborates with stakeholders within T&R and business, provide consulting and reviewing designs, setting up robust development process, to ensure an organization-wide perspective. Additionally, this team foster a culture of continuous improvements by learning from successes and failures.
What you will be doing:
•Design and implement cloud strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Develop high-level cloud architecture designs, including computing, storage, networking, security and application services.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet organization needs, including cost analysis and optimization
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance and industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with development, DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems.
• Develop automation and CI/CD. Provide advanced support and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, processes and configurations.

What you will need:

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage and networking)
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code) tools like Terraform, cloud formation.
• Proficiency in cloud security best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, K8S.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
• Hands on experience with serverless architectures.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with data management, analytics and AI/ML workloads in the cloud.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $145,900.00 - $245,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
