Role: Data Analyst (SQL, Exploratory & Predictive Analysis)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Day 1 Hybrid Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Utilize SQL for complex data querying, aggregation, and transformation.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, identify anomalies, and provide comprehensive insights.
- Perform predictive and diagnostic analysis to forecast trends and assess the impact of various business scenarios.
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and validate data-driven solutions.
- Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL databases.
- Experience with statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) is advantageous.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with programming languages like Python and R for data analysis is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Python, R).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
