Synechron is Hiring a Data Analyst (SQL, Exploratory & Predictive Analysis) Near Charlotte, NC

Role: Data Analyst (SQL, Exploratory & Predictive Analysis)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Day 1 Hybrid Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL for complex data querying, aggregation, and transformation.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, identify anomalies, and provide comprehensive insights.
  • Perform predictive and diagnostic analysis to forecast trends and assess the impact of various business scenarios.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and validate data-driven solutions.
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with programming languages like Python and R for data analysis is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Python, R).
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
