Job Title: Program Lead - Merchant Program (SAFe Expert)

Location: Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Lead with a strong background in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to head Merchant Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the program initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder management, exhibiting strong communication skills, and driving the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Lead for the Merchant Program, overseeing all aspects of program activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Implement and maintain the SAFe methodology across the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Facilitate program increment (PI) planning, lead scrum of scrums, and ensure the program's vision and goals are clearly communicated and understood by all team members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including sponsors, business owners, and team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications, ensuring that all parties are kept informed of program status, risks, and opportunities.
• Negotiate and resolve conflicts and drive decision-making processes to ensure program objectives are met.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate program strategy, plans, and outcomes to a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and updates at various levels, from team meetings to executive briefings.
• Ensure transparent and open communication channels within the program and with external stakeholders.
• Drive the program team and stakeholders to collaborate effectively, aligning their work to the program's objectives.
• Utilize a combination of leadership and technical expertise to pull together disparate groups for the common program goal.
• Encourage continuous improvement within the program through retrospectives and lessons learned sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent SAFe certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale programs using Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe.
• Strong understanding of program and project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in program management software and tools.
