Synectics Inc. is Hiring a Program Manager Near Becker, MN

Description
  • Providing safety and compliance training to the enterprise.
  • The team has a training schedule built for the entire year so that they know what training will look like and where the work is being conducted.
  • There is a main training center where majority of the training is conducted out of (Hugo, MN), however, this role will require a bit of traveling to different plants and service centers throughout the territory.
  • Training materials are in place regarding the content that is to be presented during the training.
  • Take the materials and, in a short amount of time, be able to understand the content and focus of the training and be able to deliver.
  • Will work within a team of 3 people who provide training to the company.
  • Although a small team, team works very collaboratively.
  • Weekly meetings to ensure that we are addressing customer needs, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education or technical field related to safety or a combination of education/experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint).
  • As a trainer, the ability to connect with people while conducting training is extremely important.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience as a trainer; preferably has conducted safety training or experience being a part a safety organization that has a firm understanding of OSHA requirements/regulations and how they apply to the organization, specifically, the training requirements.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a training or equivalent experience, such as experience in a safety organization, that understands safety regulations would be transferrable to this role.
  • Open to safety training experience in other industries as well.
  • Knowledge of application of adult learning principals preferred.
  • Experience a training instructor background, in some capacity.
  • Able to take the materials and, in a short amount of time, be able to understand the content and focus of the training and be able to deliver.

Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.
Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
