Synectics Inc. is Hiring a Sourcing Manager Near Bellevue, WA
- Responsibilities may include leading sourcing activities of moderate complexity, and providing support for complex or strategic initiatives.
- Define commodity and supplier strategies
- Adopt best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes
- Track category performance relative to targets, and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers
- Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates.
- Provide coaching to junior staff, as needed
- Provide support for highly complex or strategic initiatives
- Analyze supply market and current supply base
- Build business case
- Build RFx and auction
- Negotiate contract provisions
- Track and report category performance against targets
- On-board suppliers
- Conduct supplier performance reviews
- Monitor contract execution
- Forecast demand
- Identify and recommend future sourcing opportunities
- Analyzing data, making retail replenishment decisions, allocation decisions and supply purchasing decisions
- At least 7 years relevant experience required
- Technology Requirements: Some ERP planning experience is good, demand/supply or allocation planning, any works - preferably in SAP or 09 but not necessary
- Telecom and supply chain background preferred
- Priority soft skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, and organization skill, role can be chaotic

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
