As a Business Manager, you will support the operational needs of Public Relations through managing projects. Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of project set up process - rates, roles, approval documentation, etc
• Provide real time reporting of project financial performance
  • Engage in internal and client account meetings
  • Creation of scopes/estimates
  • Maintain key financial metrics: burn rate, profitability, etc
  • Ownership of change orders
• Manage communications between account teams, PFAs and finance - keeping all relevant parties informed of status and changes
• Maintain project trackers and perform data validation to ensure accuracy of performance against budgets
• Partner with PFA on reconciliation of projects - provide updates to account leads and facilitate action against overbudgets, i.e.
  • work with account lead to secure additional budget
  • work with account lead to seek approvals from client to move budgets between projects to cover overages
  • recommend efficiencies that will allow project to track to budget
• Support new customer onboarding
• Identify areas for improvement in both process and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous project management experience
• Detail oriented and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle preferred
• Keen eye for process improvements and reporting efficiencies

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $67,000 to $95,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
