Job Description:
- Lead and manage the company's tool & die engineers, tool fabrication, tool maintenance, program management, and new product development departments
- Ensure the successful execution of engineering projects, and drive innovation and continuous improvement in product development and engineering processes
- Responsible for efficient staffing of all departments and assures that all technical and support personnel are properly qualified, trained, and supervised
- Responsible for all quoting activity of new programs in support of sales
- Coordinates company engineering activities with manufacturing functions
- Leads in the development of make or buy decisions in all tooling programs
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a medium/high volume progressive stamping manufacturing environment in a design and die building capacity
- Must be hands on and not hesitant in getting involved in the day-to-day challenges
- Strong leadership and coaching/training skills and experience
