Job Description-
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma and 1-2 years trade school education in HVAC/R and related areas.
* 7 years related experience in commercial/industrial HVAC/R industry.
* Journeyman/Master HVAC trade license OR 13 years of commercial/industrial based HVAC/R experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Type II EPA certification or above- for the handling and reclamation of refrigerants.
* Valid Driver"s License with a good driving record.
* Must hold a Journeyman"s License for HVAC or equivalent license or have 13 years of commercial/industrial experience.
* OSHA10 certification
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
* Ability to read and follow written instructions.
* Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
* Ability to work from verbal instruction.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Analyze the best course of action based on standard work practices, cost and safety.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift heavy tools and materials up to 75 pounds, work safely from ladders or lifts, and work in tight equipment cabinets.
