Process Operator
Our client is seeking a skilled Machine operator to run and maintain their packaging line and palletizer equipment. This position is senior level operator role with opportunities to advance.
Duties:
* Responsible to safely and efficiently maintain and operate the Arodo packaging line and palletizers
* Maintain high-efficiency operations and monitor plant manufacturing controls, gauges and instruments
* Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
* Document and create work orders for repair in maintenance information system
* Responsible for managing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and updating assigned work orders
* Responsible for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
* Maintain correct weight and quality of the bags produced.
* Perform Durometer tests on bags for hardness and vacuum.
* Complete paperwork and reports as needed; downtime log, used parts log, shift log book
* Assist in training new operators.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
* 3 or more years of process manufacturing experience operating machinery
* Experience troubleshooting equipment is helpful.
* Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
* You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
