Sr. Structural Engineer
Our client is looking for a Sr. Structural Engineer with the ability to design structural systems and components for a variety of building types.
Responsibilities:
- Develop structural calculations, drawings and specifications from initial concept through bid documents and construction administration ensuring conformance to the required codes, standards and client requirements
- Work with a team of designers, engineers and architects to coordinate and develop designs of structural framing, foundation systems and details
- Perform structural analysis of new and existing building structures
- Support MEP departments and Architects on fit-out projects
- Review shop drawings and RFI"s
- Perform site inspections and condition assessments
- Provide consultation to clients for structural work
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Master"s degree is preferred
- PE license with a minimum of 7 - 10 years related experience
- Required knowledge of current codes, standards and the practical application of structural steel and concrete building design engineering
- Ability to work on multiple active projects
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Must be willing to travel from time-to-time (no longer than a week)
- AutoCAD and Revit experience
