Superintendent (Traveling)
Summary
The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities for our construction projects across different locations. This role requires extensive travel to job sites to ensure that each project is executed according to plan, meets safety and quality standards, and adheres to timelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Assist Preconstruction and Project Management to develop an initial project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure that all materials, equipment, and labor are available and scheduled for timely use
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and change orders
- Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines

- Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, preferred
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Ability to travel extensively and be present on-site for the duration of projects
