TITLE: EHS Program Manager

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months

NOTE: I am not able to work on a C2C basis or provide a visa transfer/sponsorship at this time.

EHS Program Manager Responsibilities:

• Identifies and evaluates operational environmental risks for impact on the business, starting from due diligence through master planning and design phases; analyzes risk scenarios to determine their potential impact on the business and designs/leads programs to mitigate those risks.
• Conducts assessments of existing EHS programs to ensure alignment with global GDC strategy, including analyzing environmental business risks and identifying, describing, and estimating efficiencies to be gained through established programs.
• Leads investigations and assessments to support compliance with US local and national regulations.
• Assess potential environmental liability risks with a focus on soil and groundwater remediation, hazardous waste, water and wastewater, environmental permitting, and compliance, solid waste/geotechnical, air emissions, and environmental, and human health risk assessment.
• Contribute to regional/global tracking of milestones and deliverables for environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Assesses training needs based on identified operational environmental risks and ensures that workforce training activities are provided to meet business and legislative requirements Investigates and analyzes environmental incident reports and recommends measures to prevent recurrence.
• Manages a global portfolio of EHS initiatives & programs for all environmental initiatives.

EHS Program Manager Requirements:

• BS or MS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields; multi-disciplinary knowledge relating to US environmental regulatory requirements, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to review.
• Environmental Impact Assessments and permit applications consistent with required standards for business decision-making.
• At least 5 years of environmental risk management industry experience.
• Experience in designing and implementing systems to manage EHS risks.
• Outstanding collaboration with cross-functional teams, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical, data quality troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build excellent relationships and get things done.

EHS Program Manager Preferred Experience:

• Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, environmental and building permit application preparation, environmental impact assessment preparation, and pollution control technologies.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Experience communicating with regional and national authorities regarding EHS issues Knowledge of Data Center Operations, Facilities Management, Engineering, and/or Construction.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $83.79 to $95.99 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
