We are currently looking for anAdministrative Receptionist for a contract position with the Department of Justice / United StatesAttorney s Office (USAO) located in Cleveland Ohio.
This is initially for a 1year contract with 2additional optional years (for a total of 3 years) with theUSAO. Candidates must be U.
S. Citizens andbe able to clear an extensive background check / clearanceinvestigation by the Department ofJustice.
The individual will support theAdministrative Division and provide the administrative and clericalduties outlinedbelow :
- Provide highlyprofessional and courteous interactions with district staff andvisitors to the USAO. Maintains a professional appearance and neatand organized workspace.
- Manages allaspects of the USAO visitor management program by processingvisitors through the webbased visitor management systemfacilitating their arrival and notifying district hosts.
Engageswith all visitors in a highly professionalmanner.
- Receives transfers anddispatches all incoming calls in accordance with districtprocedures.
- Processes facilitiessupport request tickets.
- Maintainsfiles and other documentation related to the use of the district sgovernment vehicles.
- Maintainsdistrict supply room and identifies items for replacement asneeded.
- Processes all incoming andoutgoing mail in accordance with district policy andprocedures.
- Work effectively inapplications such as Microsoft Office Suite to include Word ExcelOutlook and SharePoint as well as navigate internal webbasedprograms.
Requirements :
Experience : At a minimum candidates musthave a m inimum of 12 years of administrative / receptionist experience in a professional office environment(experience working in the legal industry is highlydesirable).
Experience interacting withthe public is extremelyimportant.
Education : At a minimum candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent(any postsecondary education is preferred).
Skills : The right candidate willhave s olid organizational skills; topnotch timemanagement skills; a streamlined and polished communication style(both oral and written);
meticulous attention to detail; and theability to remain calm and poised at all times.
Additionally : Candidates must be skilled in the Microsoft Office suitespecifically Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.
This is a fulltime / 40 hours per week position. Candidates will be working onsite each day (teleworkis not available for this role).
Thisposition offers the accrual of 2weeks of paid time off each yearpaid federal holidays and is eligible to enroll in our healthbenefitsprogram.
