*This will be a 9 month contract role to start*

*A Minimum of 3x a week onsite in Newark, NJ with some weeks being 4-5x a week onsite*

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of internal events and programs to enhance employee engagement and global connectivity
• Include leadership, cultural, recruiting, recognition, and employee engagement events
• Draw inspiration from culture, technology, and workplace trends to ensure innovative and aligned events
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR, Facilities, Communications, TechOps, and the Global Center for Urban Innovation
• Implement a comprehensive event calendar capturing local, national, and global events
• Build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders to expand event initiatives globally
• Develop and drive event strategies, ensuring goals and deliverables are met before, during, and after events
• Manage logistical aspects of events, including setup, execution, and breakdown
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and supply sourcing
• Oversee contractual obligations, budget management, and engagement metrics
• Ensure resources are allocated to successfully deliver against goals and optimize event effectiveness
• Cultivate collaboration among various teams to drive outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-8 years of event and program management experience
• Experience working with both tech and non-tech teams
• Proven ability to manage employee-focused programs from start to finish
• Availability to work on-site at least three days a week, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and willingness to handle diverse tasks
• Experience using data and metrics for program improvement
• Global event management experience is a plus
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage event execution details
• Proficiency with event management and survey tools, and generative AI (Ex. Splash, Slido, Qualtrics)
