Mac Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic Mac Developer with extensive experience in Swift. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional technical skills and a positive attitude to our collaborative environment in the heart of Chicago.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications for Mac and iOS using Swift.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless and performant user experiences.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are leveraging the best tools and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in iOS/macOS development with a strong focus on Swift.
• Expertise in Swift/Objective C and Mac Development Frameworks (Audio/Video Components).
• Experience with Xcode and Interface Builder.
• Strong understanding of Apple frameworks: AppKit, Core Media, Core Audio, Core Animation, Core Graphics (Quartz).
• Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling (web sockets a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• High energy and eagerness to take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Xcode Cloud workflows and testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git), with strong Agile Scrum experience.
