Synergy Interactive is partnering with a global media producer to fill two Translation Coordinator positions. These contract positions are hybrid in the Newark, NJ area and will be responsible for translating marketing communications to match targeted tone of voice for customers. These roles are for English -> Spanish and English -> Japanese

Responsibilities:

• Translate, localize, and edit copy for various campaigns and products to maintain the company's branded voice across different markets.
• Identify process opportunities and gaps, coordinating with stakeholders on solutions.
• Review ticket statuses to ensure critical tickets are handled promptly and efficiently.
• Provide health checks on your portion of the pipeline, ensuring appropriate coverage at all times.
• Meet agreed-upon SLAs for response and completion.
• Conduct QA checks on already translated copy.
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely customer messaging.
• Program management of the translation queue and coordination with contracted translation specialists.
• Update existing repositories with approved translations and assist in building an employee-facing wiki.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in copywriting in the specified language or as a native speaker.
• 2 years of experience in project management duties, managing pipelines and improving workflows.
• Desire to seek out workflow improvements, communicate new methods, and implement solutions.
• Past experience in crafting customer-facing communications.
• Comfort in finding opportunities in ambiguous situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding work ethic and organizational skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of marketing experience.
• Experience in the media industry.
• Experience with a subscription model.
