Construction Project Manager

The position of Project Manager required a high level of organization, knowledge of construction and building practices as well as the ability to form strong working relationships with trades, the Client/Owner and all Synergy management levels down to the foreman. The position is responsible for the financial, schedule and quality health of projects, as well as maintaining contractual compliance. A Project Manager may be responsible for one or multiple projects.

Reports to: VP of Pre-Construction, VP of Operations, President

Functional Contacts: Accounting, Contract Administration, Executive Assistants, Human Resources

Reported to by: Project Engineer, Superintendent (as assigned)

Principal Accountabilities:

• Create and maintain strong financial health of projects.
• Participate in activities associated with acquisition of projects.
• Develop and maintain logs appropriate to the project and contract type.
• Develop habitual practice among all team members in keeping project records up to date.
• Create and maintain strong working relationships with all members of the project team.
• Minimize project risk for both Synergy and clients.
• Develop and mentor all company team members and direct reports (if assigned.)
• Know, understand, communicate and ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
• Ensure all project disbursements are in accordance with contract or purchase order terms.
• Clear and consistent communication of project status and information to assigned Superintendent.

Experience/Skills/Education:

• 10-15 years increasing experience in construction project management on a variety of projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Engineering or similar from an accredited University. Commensurate experience will be considered.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Blue Beam, MS Project is REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in MS Project or PG, Procore (or other PM software) desired.
