Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software programs.
• Modify existing software to correct errors or improve functionality.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation.
• Perform part inspection to determine compliance to print standards.
• Coordinate outsourcing activities when measurement capabilities exceed in house capabilities.

Qualifications

• Three years experience writing and editing Calypso CMM programs.
• Three years CMM operating experience required. Zeiss CMM experience (Eclipse, Spectrum, or Contura preferred).
• Three years machine shop inspection experience preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in machine shop equipment/technologies/capabilities..
• Must be completely familiar with inspection equipment, including optical comparators, Tremos height gages, precision micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Must be completely familiar with blueprint reading, interpretation, and GDT terminology and interpretation.
• Advise suppliers/manufacturing of dimensional results.
• Computer/Microsoft office experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Superior work ethic and a willingness to work as a team.
