Overview: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team, specializing in contract, temporary and contract-to-hire. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the successful placement of contract and temporary workers. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a strong background in the staffing industry to make a significant impact and contribute to our company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industries and markets, focusing on clients with a need for contract and temporary staffing solutions.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their staffing needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives, including market research, lead generation, and competitive analysis.
  4. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of staffing agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  5. Account Management: Manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention through regular communication, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements and the successful placement of qualified contract and temporary workers.
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  8. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, leveraging this knowledge to identify new opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
  9. Networking: Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build a strong professional network and promote the company’s staffing services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the staffing industry, with a focus on contract and temporary staffing solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and client retention.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, including market dynamics, client needs, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Effective negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
