System One is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Tulsa, OK
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial planning and analysis function, including, but not limited to general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost accounting
- Research financial variances and opportunities for cost management
- Prepare budgets based on financial data and economic trends to present to senior management
- Prepare account reconciliations and ensure proper coding
- Review capital expenditure requests
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures
- Responsible for financial reporting function of the plant
- Provide required reporting for external parties
- Directly responsible for 1 to 2 employees, reviewing work and providing guidance as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and applications
- Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee staff
- Task oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload, while overseeing others
