About The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, create insightful reports, and drive business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create compelling visual representations of data for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools.
- Use programming languages for data wrangling, data manipulation, visualization, and analytics to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Design, implement, and manage database solutions, including writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Create comprehensive documentation and present findings and recommendations to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in analyzing large datasets, identifying issues, and solving complex problems.
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools, especially Microsoft Power BI, to create interactive and actionable visualizations.
- Microsoft Suite: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Programming Languages: Competence in programming languages used for data manipulation and analytics (e.g., Python, R).
- Database & SQL: Extensive knowledge of databases and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Report & Dashboard Creation: Proven ability to design and develop detailed reports and dashboards that communicate key business metrics.
- Documentation & Presentation: Strong documentation skills and the ability to present complex data insights in a user-friendly manner.
- Alteryx: Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
- Analytical & Critical Thinking: Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to think critically.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
- Team Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work effectively with diverse teams.
- Time Management: Superior time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines efficiently.
