An O&G Exploration client of ours is looking to bring on a Financial Cost Analyst!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly analysis of performance and profitability.
- Maintain cost standards utilizing activity-based costing methods.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct ad hoc financial investigations as needed.
- Evaluate regional financial and operational data to provide actionable insights.
- Strategize with regional teams, offering support and guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) principles.
- CPA, CMA, or experience in public accounting is a plus.
- Experience in laboratory or oil and gas industries preferred.
- Compensation DOE- $85K
