Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains various quality control analytical instruments.
- Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods.
- Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications
- Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions
- Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Performs calibrations of equipment.
- Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products.
- May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision.
- BS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience:
- Minimum 6 months lab experience
- Self motivated individual with good time management skills
- Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communications skills.
