System One is Hiring a Lab Analyst Near Savannah, GA

Job Title: Lab Analyst Location: Savannah, GA Hours/Schedule: 12hr rotating shift. 6:45 to 7. (2-3-2 schedule) 
Type: Contract Overview  A Global leader in sustainable Technologies, with a location in GA is looking for a Lab Analyst to join their team. Candidates with a Chemistry background and professional lab experience please apply!

Responsibilities
  • Operates and maintains various quality control analytical instruments.
  • Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods.
  • Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications
  • Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions
  • Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
  • Performs calibrations of equipment.
  • Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products.
  • May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision.
Requirements
  • BS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months lab experience
  • Self motivated individual with good time management skills
  • Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communications skills.
