System One is Hiring a Reliability Engineer II Near Bountiful, UT
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Skills: Knowledge of refinery operations, strong interpersonal, analytical, business and technical judgment, negotiation, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and understand Isometric and Piping Identification Drawings and general industrial symbols. Knowledge of refinery engineering standards needed to create piping packages for engineering review and approval. Advanced reading and writing. Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations and computer skills. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. On call 24 hours per day, seven days per week on an as-needed basis.
- Responsibilities: Work with the Reliability group, turnaround team and other refinery groups to prepare Turnaround packages that meet the intent of our Engineering Practices and Standards. Review Turnaround work scope to determine if good engineering practices and procedures are being followed. Ensure that all work problems, issues and concerns that might arise during the planning execution of Turnarounds are effectively solved in coordination with all concerned parties. Participate in developing Turnarounds critical path, activity logic, estimated budget and expected outcomes. Ensure that Turnaround processes and procedures are properly followed and continuously improved and coordinate with all concerned Divisions to ensure that all required resources are available and ready to execute the work.
