PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Senior System Engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations and support
BACKGROUND: The client has an ongoing need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the Board. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior system engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations and support.
REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:

BACKGROUND: The client has an ongoing need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the Board. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior system engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations and support.
REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
- Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations
- Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations, VLAN, VMC, primary, secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations
- Experience with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations
- Experience with Powershell/Powercli scripting
- Assist the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting VMware and ESXi Server issues, developing new
- designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required.
- Extensive expertise in VMware and ESXi server configuration
