DescriptionAs the Field Sales Trainer at System Pavers, your primary objective is to implement and improve comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and effectiveness of our Design Consultants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sales team is proficient in articulating System Pavers' value propositions to Homeowners, thereby maximizing sales performance and achieving targets. You'll analyze performance metrics, identify learning gaps, and continuously improve our training initiatives. Your efforts will be pivotal in maintaining alignment with organizational goals, driving innovation in training methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our sales force. Job ResponsibilitiesSales and Product TrainingImplement comprehensive System Pavers sales and product line training programs Oversee trainees throughout the course of training program to include, but not limited to:Scheduling training activitiesAssess the proficiency of Design Consultants in effectively communicating the company's value propositions to Homeowners and coach appropriatelyMonitor the ability of Design Consultants to understand and address Homeowner requirements during sales interactions and train appropriately Demonstrate the end-to-end System Pavers sales process live in Homeowners’ homeTrack the success rate of Design Consultants in closing deals and achieving sales targets as key indicators of successDemonstrate the end-to-end System Pavers sales process live in Homeowners’ homesCollaboration with Sales and Product ManagementReport directly to the Director of Training, providing regular updates on performance metrics and learning gapsCollaborate with sales leadership and product management teams to gain insights into sales strategiesStay informed about the competitive landscape, including competitors' products and market positioningAct as a liaison between Training and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectivesContinuous ImprovementCollaborate with the Director of Training to analyze training program results and identify areas for improvementWork in partnership with the Director of Training, evaluate and provide recommendations to the System Pavers sales process that will yield improved outcomes for our customers Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging sales methodologies, and advancements in adult learning principlesContinuously assess the effectiveness of training programs using various feedback mechanisms, performance metrics, and assessmentsProactively seek opportunities to innovate and enhance training approaches to better meet the needs of sales team members and drive results RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering sales training is required, facilitating both in person and virtual sessions. In-home sales experience is strongly preferred1-2 years of experience in a coaching role, supported by key performance indicators as validation1-2 years of experience with the development and delivery of product and technical trainingComprehensive understanding and ability to effectively demonstrate strategic selling techniquesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills needed for effective collaboration with trainees, Homeowners and key stakeholdersComfortable working in a variety of environments. Ability to adapt training strategies to diverse learner profiles and regional needsWillingness to travel to various locations within (location) as necessaryA relevant bachelor's degree is preferredAdditional qualifications in training and development or sales would be a bonusSystem Pavers provides a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision benefits as well as a 401k.
