As a COBOL Software Developer on our Retail Commerce team, you ll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to design and implement robust solutions that form the foundation of our core business. Your expertise will not only support, but also enhance the critical systems that our success is built upon. Your role will also include maintaining and improving our software, ensuring it's secure, reliable, and performs at its best.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalency in related education and professional work experience
• Experience with Retail Commerce Systems is helpful, including Product Sourcing, Call Center, eCommerce and Order Fulfillment Systems
• 8 years of work experience in a software development role
• 5 years of experience in a combination of the following:

- COBOL
- JCL
- CICS
- DB2
- VSAM
- MySQL, SQL, or similar database experience

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to collaborate on designs, estimates, and delivery of complex development tasks while acting as a proactive team member in an Agile development environment
• Creates clean and maintainable code following coding standards and secure coding requirements
• Proficient in verbal and written communication for both technical and business audiences
• Continually enhance and share knowledge in application development best practices, technologies, methodologies, and standards
