System Soft Technologies is seeking a direct hire Credit Risk Analyst for their client in Fort Worth, TX. For the first 90 days you will be required to work 100% onsite. After the first 90 days, you can move to a hybrid work schedule.

Job Summary:

Credit Risk Analyst works independently to perform research, data extraction and analysis, building data and analytical tools to support the mitigation of credit risk

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine predictive data analysis to support underwriting optimization, and ongoing audit/management of existing underwriting strategies
• Conduct research and leverage mathematical and statistical techniques to develop credit models to analyze and forecast consumer behaviour.
• Operate within database management systems to analyze data and perform data mining analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to address emerging business needs or problems and support enterprise initiatives
• Support with data vendor evaluation, onboarding and delivery
• Serve as an internal point of contact for risk/underwriting-related issues
• Identify process improvement opportunities and involve in developing/executing projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Business Analytics, MIS, or other quantitative field
• 1-3 years experience preferred or relevant internship or course experience in the analytical or financial services field (both are highly preferred).
• Strong technical aptitude. Familiarity with ETL processes, SQL & SAS highly preferred
