The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work as part of a team to provide physical therapy service under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist.
The PTA will implement selected components of patient/client interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected
interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort.
Responsibility
PTA’s assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their
abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Patient care is provided as in-patient, outpatient and home health settings.

Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience primarily outpatient experience preferred. Bi-lingual capabilities helpful.
Working Environment
General work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work in a state of the art, newly built Rehabilitation Gymnasium, clean, well-lighted, heated and air-conditioned area.
Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells and infectious diseases possible
