Established and growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join their team. The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for overseeing and conducting the daily maintenance and service of the ammonia refrigeration and CO2 systems at the plant and cold storage facility. This includes evaluating the processes and procedures for efficiency, safety, and service. Company offers training and certifications in refrigeration. 

Responsibilities:
• Inspect primary compressors in the main plant daily and frozen storage facility daily. 
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment related to ammonia refrigeration. 
• Quickly repair to reduce production downtime.
• Be available for refrigeration, cooling, and heating troubleshooting by phone, or in person for emergencies (compensated)

Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience servicing and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems in manufacturing, food production, or cold storage/logistics (required)
• Certifications in ammonia refrigeration system maintenance and operation such as RETA Certifications in CIRO/CARO (preferred) 
• Experience with CO2 refrigeration systems (preferred)
