• This position will support NSWC Dahlgren A Department Test and Evaluation efforts in automated software testing using TestCafe Studio, Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools.
• Additionally, the candidate should understand JavaScript, with the ability to write JavaScript highly preferred.
• Additional preferred skills are a knowledge of C#, Ruby, and SQL.
• The tester will provide full-spectrum test support (i.e., system, integration, unit, end-to-end, contract, security, and performance).
• Experience with all types of testing is not required.
• Some telework is likely, but not guaranteed.
• This position has minimum travel required contained in the DC-Maryland area for periodic meetings.

• 3-5 years of experience in automated software testing
• Writing automated test scripts to assess functionality within system User Interfaces (UI)
• Writing and executing thorough test cases and procedures
• Contributing to work item development (especially testing criteria)
• Troubleshooting failed automated tests
• Supporting feature and validation testing across multiple domains
• Learning and utilizing project technologies for in depth error root cause analysis (e.g. RMQ)
• This position requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
