We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk with a logistics background to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This is a vital role in our warehouse and distribution center operations.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Inspect packages for damages or defects
- Unload, sort, and distribute incoming shipments to the appropriate locations
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them correctly
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize AS400 system to track inventory and update shipment information
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is beneficial
