Systems MD is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Albuquerque, NM
IT Support Specialist
Located in the Albuquerque Metro Area east side, Systems MD is a growing IT company and has been providing government, business computer and network solutions since 2006. We are looking for a hard-working, motivated part or full-time technician. Opportunities are available for advancement.
Job duties include:
- Help desk remote and some onsite support assisting customers with resolution of their computer issues in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
- Diagnosing/troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software related computer issues.
- Computer setup, cleanups, upgrades, virus removal, and general maintenance.
- Support common business and productivity software.
- Assist callers with requests for information technology services, repair or support requests, complaints, and inquiries and direct to appropriate IT personal via computer tracking system.
- Document user calls, issue resolution, and related processes and procedures
- General office duties, including answering phones, taking messages, and some light cleaning.
- Assist with projects.
Requirements:
- Strong computer knowledge and troubleshooting skills, 2 years professional IT experience preferred.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience with virus removals and operating system reloads
- Experience with computer hardware replacement and installation
- Network troubleshooting experience (WAN, LAN, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS)
- Personal qualities required: Personable, responsible, professional, friendly, motivated, self-starting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean cut and professional appearance.
- Experience in customer service related work preferred
- Technology certifications or degrees a plus
- Mac experience a plus
- References required
- Background check and clean drug test are required.
Salary DOE with opportunities for advancement
