The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for collaborating between all departments, IT teams, external consultants, and vendors to translate business requirements into system functionality and solutions. Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Director, the position will ensure quality systems through comprehensive testing, and strive to continuously improve business process efficiency using technology solutions.

Your skills and abilities (required qualifications)

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years work experience in applying information systems solutions to business challenges required. Experience as a business analyst on large projects or multiple concurrent small projects is required, specifically ERP implementation and support experience.
• Skills: Strong business acumen in more than one JD Edwards function, specifically in Purchasing, Sales Order Management, MPS/MRP, Inventory Management and Transportation Management .
• Exposure to one or more ERP system, with JD Edwards preferred.
• The ability to translate and communicate complex concepts across business functions.
• Experience with process/data mapping.
• Experience in system testing, problem resolution, and training.
• Knowledge of application development processes, SDLC preferred.
• Experience with project management is preferred.
• Must have good analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills. Must be detailed oriented
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening). Must demonstrate patience with end users.
• Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated work ethic that emphasizes customer focus, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work alone and in a team setting, often in a remote capacity.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) and Repetitive Process Automation tools (Orchestrator) a plus.
• Travel: Must be able to travel domestically up to 50%.
