The Digital Health Artificial Intelligence (AI) Product Manager creates the digital health mission, vison, and value and conveys these to the team for the product(s) they oversee. (S)He is responsible for the mission’s success and for creating the product that exceeds user expectations and meets business goals. The Digital Health Sr. Product Manager will gather user requirements, write user stories, and prioritize the backlog with the Chief Digital and Information Officer. The mission and product for this team will be Artificial intelligence for the organization. The organization will be adopting artificial intelligence with very limited internal development.

The Digital Health Sr. AI Product Manager observes, learns about, contacts and analyzes the end users of the product. Gathers user requirements and translates them into user stories and decides what to build/adopt and what not to build/adopt to meet the objectives of the mission outcomes outlined with the Chief Digital and Information Officer and Premier Health governance.

• Creates, maintains, and prioritizes the mission’s product backlog for Artificial Intelligence.

• Specify acceptance criteria for each user story that meets the mission.

• Clearly communicates the requirements to the Agile team and AI Governance Committee formed to complete the mission.

• The Digital Health Sr. Product Manager will work multiple missions as prioritized by the Chief Digital and Information Officer and Premier Health Governance.

• Give feedback to the Agile mission team and any development team members needed to create the product for the mission’s outcome.

• Facilitate the release planning with stakeholders.

• Participate in sprint meetings and track/measure product progress.

• Coach development and design teams with detailed guidance during the product development.

• Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user and patient satisfaction.

• Coach business translators on their role and ways they can grow into future Product Manager roles.

This Product owner will oversee work of multiple teams and over time have direct reports as this is a new concept within the organization.

Leadership On-call for Technology Division 3 - 5 times per year

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 7 - 10 years of job related experiencePrior job title or occupational experience: Business Leader, Agile Business Leader, Software Product Manager, Product Manager, Product Owner, Healthcare Solution Manager

Prior specific functional responsibilities: Preferably mobile experience, Product manager of software products, business leadership. Experience with AI Governance and oversight a plus.

Preferred experience: Knowledge and experience working with SAP and GIS applications; Microsoft or Google Analytics experience. 2 years working with Agile methodology

Other experience requirements: Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and recommendations concerning the prioritization and coaching development required to accomplish business objectives.

Knowledge/skills: Vision creations, defining business requirements, translating requirements to an Agile team, and achieve objectives of the team’s mission assignment. Will likely oversee multiple missions and teams simultaneously.

Comfort around matrix reporting and working with multiple levels of leadership is needed for success. This is a roll-up your sleeves role and not a strategist role.
