Systems West Engineers | Commissioning Provider (Springfield, Oregon)

Systems West Engineers (SWE) is seeking a Commissioning Provider to join our consulting engineering firm.

We are a team of skilled engineers, designers, and technicians, who are also bicycle commuters, photographers, volunteers, DIY fanatics, gardeners, skiers, hikers, and experimenters. As both colleagues and friends, we enjoy working together to bring enthusiasm and a team-oriented focus on each strategically selected project.

The right-fit candidate enjoys problem solving, complex projects, and a blend of hands-on field work and in-office administrative work. Successful candidates will have previous commissioning experience, value working collaboratively in a team environment, and delivering high quality and reputable commissioning services.

As a Commissioning Provider 2, you will implement and execute the commissioning process for a variety of projects. Your key responsibilities will include performing design reviews, developing commissioning specifications, performing and supervising construction inspections and field investigations, conducting commissioning meetings and functional performance testing, tracking and resolving technical issues, and developing training documentation and system operation manuals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

· 3-5 years of building commissioning experience.

· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.

· Strong interest in mechanical and electrical building systems for the built environment.

· EIT certification, or ability and interest to obtain.

· Associate Commissioning Professional (ACP)/Certified Commissioning Professions (CCP), or ability and interest to obtain.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a full time, exempt position. Competitive salary starting at $80,000-90,000, DOE. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan with contributions and company performance bonus.
