Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamic individual to join their expanding Finance team as the Finance Systems Project Lead. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the implementation and management of enterprise systems, driving the company's profitable growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the development and deployment of SAP solutions across all aspects of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of SAP implementation projects across various business functions including Finance, Retail, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align Finance and IT strategies with overall business objectives.
• Conduct thorough business process analyses to identify opportunities for leveraging enterprise platforms and industry-standard processes to optimize business functions.
• Guide internal teams in SAP project execution, user support, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Identify and address gaps in standard processes, exploring solutions such as interfacing with other software platforms or developing custom programs.
• Provide training and support to end users to ensure seamless business operations.
• Work closely with software and service partners to deliver technical solutions and resolve issues.
• Drive the documentation of processes in alignment with the client's business model and terminology.
• Promote the adoption of standardized ways of working, methods, and tools across the organization.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and offerings in enterprise systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in implementing and managing SAP solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
• Proficiency in S4 HANA.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes and their integration with SAP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects and teams.
• Experience in Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD), and/or Plant Maintenance (PM) is desirable.
• Familiarity with 3rd party financial systems such as travel and expense management, month-end close automation, SEC reporting, and FP&A is advantageous.
• Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
• Proven ability to act decisively and work effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Resourceful with a track record of achieving results with small teams.
• Estimated 25% travel within the US depending on project needs.
